Digital smile design
Introducing digital techniques allows us to reach a level of treatment that was previously hard to access. Clearly, digitalisation does not replace the dentist’s knowledge and skill — but it is a significant support.
Thanks to technology, treatment becomes simpler, faster and more predictable. Greater comfort matters too — for example replacing unpopular impressions with an intraoral scanner, or preparing a simulation of the new smile before treatment begins.
Digitalisation also means precise planning of implant procedures. For us, digital dentistry is already everyday practice.

Implantology
Rebuilding missing teeth
Implantology is the field of dentistry dedicated to rebuilding missing teeth with implants. The youngest branch of dentistry, thanks to intensive research and progress, gives patients the chance to rebuild a single missing tooth, several teeth, or even a complete loss of teeth.
Why is it worth investing in implants?
It is usually a lifetime investment, and a good implant system provides patients with not only comfort but also excellent aesthetics of the restorations. You will receive all the necessary information during the consultation.
At the Stomatologia Mierzyn Centre we use titanium implants, which are currently the gold standard, but we also — as one of the few clinics in Poland — use ceramic implants.
Implants are our treatment of choice for the loss of a single tooth, several teeth or even all teeth. In almost every situation implants can be used to rebuild missing teeth, and patients can enjoy unparalleled comfort, often unattainable with classical methods. Our many years of experience and proven procedures guarantee not only treatment success but also efficient handling of potential problems.
Stomatologia Mierzyn, as one of the first and few centres in Poland, offers the most technologically advanced implants. These are also “metal-free” implants — made of zirconium oxide (ceramic implants), which gives them unique features: they are naturally white, so they are clearly indicated for the aesthetic zone (where a titanium implant might show through thin gums), they are hypoallergenic — indicated for all patients with metal allergy — and they have a smaller bacterial biofilm compared to titanium implants, reducing the risk of many systemic diseases. They are also highly biocompatible, integrating perfectly with bone and gum.

Aesthetic dentistry
Health first, then the result
This fairly young field of dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of teeth and face. Procedures within aesthetic dentistry aim solely to improve the visual result. They should only be performed when the health of the teeth allows it.
The scope of aesthetic dentistry includes:
- scaling, sandblasting and polishing of teeth
- whitening
- aesthetic corrections with composites, known as bonding
- aesthetic corrections with ceramic veneers

Tooth decay treatment
Tooth reconstruction with composite
The dentist removes the parts of the tooth destroyed by decay and rebuilds them with available materials. Composite materials are most often used, allowing the tooth structure to be restored perfectly. When a tooth is particularly badly damaged by decay, inlays, onlays, veneers or crowns are used.

Root canal treatment
Endodontics
Endodontics is necessary when untreated decay leads to infection of the dental pulp. This inner tissue of the tooth is responsible for its innervation and nutrition. When infection reaches the pulp, the tooth usually starts to hurt. In such a case, root canal treatment is necessary.

Replacing missing teeth
Fixed and removable prosthetics
Unreplaced missing teeth can cause many more serious diseases. Classical prosthetics offers patients fixed dentures (those that are not removed) and removable dentures (all those that the patient can take out of the mouth themselves).
